Lina joined the SynoSys Team in 2025. She wrote her master’s thesis on BERT and how adding an intermediate training step with comedy books affects its performance in sarcasm detection. Her interdisciplinary background also enabled her to explore the intersection of neuroscience and artificial intelligence, analyzing human fixation patterns in manual and autonomous driving scenarios.
