Samuel Ropert

Samuel is a PhD researcher in physics and computational biology working on complex systems. With a background in electrical engineering, he combines network theory, nonlinear dynamics, and computational modelling to investigate how structure shapes collective behaviour across scales.

His current research focuses on epidemic spreading and synchronization in modular and hierarchical networks, with a particular interest in how nested organization shapes collective dynamics across scales. More broadly, he is interested in how complex systems balance integration and separation, and in the multiscale behaviour that emerges from this interplay.
